Something That I've Forgotten to Blog...

There was this one day that I had an uninvited creepy crawly in my room.

I was actually in my floormate's room having a movie marathon and chatting till the wee hours in the morning. At 4.30am, we decided to call it a day and I retire to my room. It was quite chilly that night (erm...morning, I mean) so I decided to close the window and when I drew the curtains, there is this big, black, furry looking thing at the curtain that made me froze. Took me 2 seconds to realize that its a huge spider...almost 15cm long including its legs.

Since it didn't move a muscle, I thought that I could just ignore it and go to sleep. However, the uninvited guest decided to have a tour of my room instead. Crawling from the curtain to the wall near the heater....not good at all. So, my next step is to try and kill it YET, the spider was too high for me to reach it with the bag wrapped around my hand.

Peering at my clock which is almost 5.00am, I would have to think fast rather than waiting for the spider to come down or I'll never get any sleep at all...

As a last resort, I thought I would get the help of my floormate to kill it since she is tall enough and not to mention, that she may not have fallen asleep yet. I knocked on her door and she open with a puzzled face (must be thinking, why the hell am I not sleeping yet). Ignoring that, I told her bout the spider in my room but maybe because I have a grin on my relatively calm face rather than scared expression, she followed me to my room without hesitation.

I pointed to the ceiling where the spider was and she looked up, "Where?...(her voice trailed off when she saw the uninvited guest)...Oh, sh*t, that's a huge hairy looking spider...Do whatever you want...Bunk in with me for the night or whatever...I'm not going into your room...." And she left as quickily as lightning with shivers down her spine. Well, not exactly what I wanted but...that will do for now...haha.

The next morning the spider was gone until nightfall and it reappeared near the curtains again and once again, I'm not tall enough to kill it. Luckily, my floormate managed to gather enough courage to catch it with a plastic bag wrapped around her hand before passing it to me and I smashed the poor thing into submission. That's for ruining my sleep...*evil grinz...

Now, I can sleep in peace and hopefully the spider's anak-anak, cucu-cicit won't come for revenge.
