Weird things do come in a bunch.....

Feeling weird and nothing goes right on the day I left KL for Perth yet again.

The gate to my flight was changed from what was printed on my ticket and I didn't notice the announcement, thus I walked all the way to the wrong gate, suspecting something wrong as all my previous flight were at the other gate on the other far end. My hunch is right and I have to walk all the way back to the other gate but I don't feel frustrated or angry at all (more of a "just as I thought" kinda feeling).

In the plane, walking towards my seat and suddenly saw these nicely dressed Indian couple flirting which each other and in which my seat was taken by the male counterpart. They realized what was going on and the guy asked if he could change seats with me in which I agree (as if I have a choice... don't wanna separate the lovely couple, don't we... sigh). Am I angry? Nope... maybe just slightly annoyed as things are really not going smoothly today.

Arrived back in Perth but my friend who was suppose to fetch me thought I was going back tomorrow instead of today. Then again, I somehow have this feeling that this would happen (not because that I don't trust her, mind you, but more like a premonition). She did rush to the airport to get me and I'm really grateful.

Weird, huh? But anyway, got back my own room and this time, I'm surrounded by a lot of freshies from Hong Kong. Hong Kong people are really funny but friendly. If they know you could speak their language especially in any western countries, they will look as if they wanna cry, their hearts screaming 'finally! someone who can speak cantonese!'. How weird but kinda put a smile on my face, though.

Anyway, with Davy Jones and Captain Jack Sparrow still exchanging taunts in my mind (who could forget the time when Capt. Jack chanted "I got a bottle of dirt...I got a bottle of dirt" and tumbled down the stairs) plus my family and friends laughter filling my heart, once again I felt it hard to not mingle in the holiday mode as much as I could.

The winter is one of the few things I like in Perth, though. Never fails to tempt me to oversleep..... Zzzzz.....
