Even if the sky falls, use it as a blanket, huh?

Well, there goes one of the famous chinese idioms when someone is calm enough to take any problems he/she faces optimistically. I'm actually wondering if I'm doing that now.

From my previous blog, it seemed that I've taken a very fast and efficient (2 days) approached to tackle the problems. Without the Chem pre-requisite, I have change my major from Genetics to Biomedical Science, taking units like Microb, HSD, Physio, and Pharm, which are ironically said to be harder. Thus, I have more opened options than last time when I could only specialized in the Genetics field but now I have tons of fields to choose from. Plus, I think my parents would be damn happy to know that I'm studying Pharm which they said has a higher recruitment chances than Genetics. Not that I beg to differ but instead, I'm beginning to like Pharm (man, can't believe I'm saying this...). So, even with a fail, could it be said that I've ventured into a more "prestigious" field since overall, my units are the hardest with the longest lab hours where most students tend to avoid? Hmm....I guess it's still too early to say that now...(no offense to genetics students, kay...that's just how society see things, hehe).

Anyway, enough bout studies since it's more or less settled...off to socializing matters. A new sem in a new year with more new faces around. However, this sem I tend to be quite busy with lab reports and tutorials than indulging myself in social gatherings. Unlike last sem when I'm one of the committees in organizing the annual International Night in my residential college (using the walkie-talkie was cool). Then again, that was actually by chance...haha...

This sem I'll try to slack more and not get myself to uptight with too much responsiblities. That should give my third-eye and even my 'denpa' more rest.....been using them too much last sem. Must sleep more also.....muawahahahaha.....
