Certified Senior First Aider!!

Went for a two day training in Senior First Aid and I would say that it was very very interesting. Gotta love the CPR pracs and NO... I DO NOT get to do mouth-to-mouth with someone but only with a dummy. As CPR would most likely break ribs, I wouldn't recommend practicing it on someone alive anyway. It was tiring but fun in doing the CPR and maintained it for a minute or so. The instructors and a few participants were game enough to make the scenarios as real and as DRAMATIC as possible, which includes screaming, hysterical wailing, fake limbs, fake snakes, fallen chairs, fake burns, and fake blood. Lots of fun and loads of laughs although it's kind of funny to see casualties smiling or laughing away while saying that they're in pain with fake fracture bones jutting out of their limb.

The assessment was pretty easy and everyone passed with flying colours.

The most interesting thing that I've learned: the cleanest way to do CPR is covering the mouth with something breathable (i.e. shirt etc.) to avoid transmittable diseases but if you don't wanna 'kiss' through a shirt, you can do MOUTH-TO-NOSE instead which is the recommended way of doing CPR than doing mouth-to-mouth!

Alright... back to sleep... Zzzzz
