Whoa, time out.....

No wonder I was so dreading to return to Perth...so many things have change which left most of the senior international students in confusion, which includes me.

Not only did I failed my supplementary exam for Chemistry without even taking the paper or even knowing when to take it, I encountered so much problems with my re-enrolment concerning mostly my majors because of that. Not a good thing at all...

Finding out that the supplementary exam was actually smacked right in the middle of Chinese New Year, came as a surprise as no one inform me about it. From the website, it said that I will be inform a week before the exam about my timetable, do they expect me to book my flight tickets on such a short notice and on Chinese New Year as well, not to mention arranging my lodgings? I just can't help it but feel it's very unfair to international students like me.

Many things have been really bothering me for a while since the day I reach the land of the kangaroos and it's really testing my patience. The only thing that I feel glad about is getting Credits for all other units and meeting up with some old friends here but that's about it. I really need some time out.....

Long, long break...

Seemed that I stopped blogging when I got home in Kuala Lumpur...haha...now that I'm back in Australia, maybe I should summarized my long 3 months summer holiday back at home in KL.

For starters, KL seems to have change a lot....house renovation spree, new roads n' highways, new stores which have closed down n' opened, etc... And yet, most of my friends here like the Lung Society and the Roaches Entertainment Corporation are still the same ol' bunch of lovable people, which is quite a relief. In addition to reverting back to speaking in one of my favourite languages, Cantonese after speaking English for so long.

Almost right after I came back, I went to visit some of my friends in Singapore and took a nearly 6 hours ride down to the City of Merlion (hehe), not to mention that the bus broke down even before the trip n' fellows passenger n' me were to wait like an hour for the company to send another bus. Anyway, visiting Singapore is quite an experience though I must say that KL is more happening (no offence ya...hehe). Their public transport is a thing to marvel which sadly, can't be adapted in Malaysia which have too many 'ulu' places. Many thanks to all my Singaporean friends for showing me around.

After the trip, came Christmas Eve! It's the merriest day of all although I'm a free thinker, as are my bestmates. This rare occasion was very much celebrated n' looked forward to by fellow Lungers. We had a Christmas Eve dinner at Ichi's place like every year where Sango, Yongo n' me will gather almost without fail. Not to mention the small, old n' fragile looking Christmas tree that has been faithfully accompanying us all these years as we chat n' chat like there's no tomorrow.

Then came New Year...year 2006. I kind of remember doing something that day but I can't seemed to remember what....haha.

Along came Chinese New Year, when the usual family gathering applied on the 1st and 2nd lunar (collecting ang pau time...hehe). Then followed by the neverending house hopping from lunar 3rd till lunar 6th (more ang pau...muawahahaha) but b'coz of all the driving from house to house with little rest n' eating too much CNY food, I got sore throat, fever, flu n' cough on the following week...haha. Plus diarrhea on one of the day in that particular week.

Valentine's Day...ah, the most romantic day of the year...or so they say lar...So, on this so romantic day, I slept through half of it while going out with my group of friends who are all single for the other half....hahaha.

I guessed those pretty much sum up my holidays. If you are asking me how about Labour Day leh, Thaipusam leh, Wilayah Day leh....those are...I think I slept through most of them. One thing's for sure, the 3 months holiday are definitely too long n' it kinda makes me lazy n' dreading to head back to Perth. Despite so many nice n' outgoing friends esp. Lung n' Roaches, outstanding food at 'mamak' stores etc., happening places, loving family (mom, dad, bro), so many nice PS2 games coming out at this year...they're all in KL...so sad just to leave it all.

All in all, I must admit that for once, I certainly miss home. Why must MAS increased the flight tickets...damn...
